Canopy by Hilton — West Palm Beach, FL

When Hilton's lifestyle brand Canopy opened its doors in downtown West Palm Beach, it arrived with a striking glass façade, fiber optic art installations hanging in the atrium, and a clear mandate: every guest-facing space needed to sound as good as it looked. Level Three was brought in alongside TM Sound to make that happen.

The property presented a real challenge — multiple distinct environments, each with different acoustic demands, all needing to operate independently while sharing a single back-of-house infrastructure. From the ground-floor lobby to the 13th-floor rooftop, every zone had to deliver a tailored audio experience without visible hardware disrupting the hotel's design language.

The Spaces

1

Banter Restaurant & Bar

The hotel's ground-floor restaurant needed balanced coverage that would fill the room during dinner service while still allowing comfortable conversation between servers and guests. DAS Artec 310.96-W loudspeakers were installed to deliver warm, even sound without overwhelming the dining atmosphere.

2

Treehouse — 13th Floor Rooftop

Treehouse is the hotel's nightlife anchor — a rooftop venue 13 stories up with panoramic views and a serious party atmosphere. Level Three deployed DAS Artec 506-W loudspeakers and Quantum 10-W subwoofers inside, with weather-rated WR-8826-DXW speakers covering the outdoor bar and patio. The system transitions seamlessly from background lounge music to full DJ sets.

3

Pool Deck

The rooftop pool area required weatherproof speakers that could handle South Florida's heat, humidity, and salt air while delivering enough output for pool parties and daytime events. Six WR-6412-DXW loudspeakers and two WR-322-DX subwoofers were installed to provide full, punchy coverage across the entire deck — from the cabanas to the water's edge.
