Tru / Home2 Suites — Fort Lauderdale, FL
This 202-room dual-brand property in the heart of Flagler Village is two Hilton hotels in one building — Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites — each targeting a different traveler but sharing common amenities. Minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and walking distance from the Brightline express train station, the property needed background music and AV systems that could serve both brands without feeling generic.
Level Three designed a sound system and AV integration package that gives each brand its own sonic identity while sharing a unified back-of-house infrastructure. The result is a property where the vibe shifts naturally as guests move between spaces — from the energy of the 5th-floor rooftop pool to the calm of the Home2 lobby breakfast area.
The Spaces
TRUView Pool Bar — 5th Floor Rooftop
The outdoor heated pool sits on the 5th-floor rooftop with views of downtown Fort Lauderdale's skyline. TRUView Pool Bar serves cocktails alongside it, open into the evening on weekends. Level Three installed weatherproof speakers across the deck and bar area, tuned to deliver upbeat poolside energy that carries across the open rooftop without bleeding into the guest rooms below.
Home2 MKT & Lobby
The Home2 Suites side of the building features its own lobby, breakfast area, and the Eat & Sip Market. The audio here is all about background ambiance — warm, unobtrusive sound that makes the space feel welcoming during the complimentary breakfast service and transitions to a relaxed evening vibe for guests winding down.
Common Areas & Background Music
The shared corridors, fitness center, and elevator lobbies all received distributed background music systems running on scheduled playlists. The Tru lobby — known for its vibrant "young-at-heart" murals inspired by local Fort Lauderdale arts — gets a slightly more energetic audio profile than the Home2 side, keeping each brand's personality intact throughout the building.
